Meeting the Siblings: Rennie

Of the 3 other animals we have, Rennie, our geriatric dog was the first to meet the girls officially. He was excited to see something in the house smaller than he was and happily watched the girls in their brooder. Fast forward several months later, he's also the one that gets his tail nibbled on by his sisters when he's basking in the sun.

It's not the first time Rennie has been picked on by larger animals, after all, he is a 4 pound chihuahua.  Oh, a chihuahua with no teeth...

Rennie is one of the more adventurous pets, willing to share the yard with his tiny Dino sisters, although even he has his limits.  Recently Vera tried to peck at the healing wound from a vet visit and Rennie was longing for solo pet life!

In spite of the pecking, Rennie continues to be interested in his chicken sisters, watching them move around the yard from the safety of the screen porch 😂
