Despite protest from Chickie Daddy, who in hindsight realized he wanted this post to be Partying Like it’s 1999 the milestone we’re celebrating today is the 2,000th egg laid in the coop! Until a week ago it felt like the milestone was going to take forever to be reached with just a few eggs being left for us on a semi regular basis. For-ev-er, but these ladies have a way in going and proving their Chickie Parents wrong and that’s of course what they did. Eggs eggs 1998, 1999, & 2000 in a short timespan that required us checking the footage to see just who claimed the title.

In true Oscar fashion all of the contestants showed up wearing couture fashion to the nesting boxes, but only one could claim the honor of laying the 2,000th egg.
